Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions regulate the contractual relationship between embellish.ch (“Seller”) and its customers (“Customer”) in connection with orders via the Seller’s web shop.

2. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of the products in the web shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding invitation to order. By submitting an order, the customer makes a binding offer to purchase the products contained in the shopping cart. The contract is concluded when the seller accepts the customer's order by shipping the ordered goods or confirming shipping.

3. Prices and payment terms

All prices in the web shop are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately. The customer can choose between different payment methods offered in the web shop. Payment of the purchase price is due immediately.

4. Delivery and shipping

Delivery is made to the delivery address specified by the customer. Delivery time may vary depending on product availability and delivery location. The customer will be informed about the expected delivery time. Ownership of the delivered products only passes to the customer upon full payment.

5. Right of withdrawal

The customer has a statutory right of withdrawal, about which he will be informed in accordance with the statutory provisions. The details of the right of withdrawal and the withdrawal form are available on the website.

6. Warranty and liability

The seller guarantees that the products delivered are free from material and manufacturing defects and have the agreed properties. The seller is not liable for any damage caused by improper use or handling of the products.

7. Data protection

The seller undertakes to comply with data protection regulations and to use the personal data provided by the customer only for the purpose of executing the contract.

8. Final provisions

Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become ineffective, this will not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions. The parties undertake to replace the invalid provision with an effective regulation that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.

9. Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies to these General Terms and Conditions and the contractual relationship between the seller and the customer, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these General Terms and Conditions and the contractual relationship between the seller and the customer is Winterthur.

Who is behind embellish.ch

  • embellish GmbH...

    ... was founded at the beginning of 2024 by Andrea and Michael Marti, together with their son David. We are therefore a pure family company. Our goal is to provide you with items that you can use to beautify your home. Hence the name "embellish" - to beautify.

  • Roeda Studio

    We have been friends for years with the owner of Roeda Studio in Grand Rapids (Michigan). Over time, the idea matured of importing the art magnets from the USA to Switzerland and later selling them in Germany and Austria.

    The photo was taken in December 2023 on the Säntis during a visit by the team from Grand Rapids.

    Over time we will also produce and sell special magnets with Swiss motifs.

    It is also possible to design and produce your company logo, signet or a personal magnet. For such inquiries, it is best to contact us by email or telephone.

  • our web shop

    In our webshop we offer items that we actually have in stock in Switzerland. If you would like a larger quantity of a magnet that exceeds our stock, please contact us by email or telephone. We have regular deliveries from the USA and will be happy to pre-order them for you. However, it is also possible that a magnet is no longer produced. Then we would be happy to show you an alternative product.
